1. Ghazal: (Hindvi/Rekhta below)
Forget Me Not This is My Plea
The tender dreams of all the
Yesteryears, erase them not, this is my plea,
The questions asked with a sweet
Consent, efface them not, this is my plea.
By cosmic chance, our paths
Converged within this vast, revolving sphere,
The shifting tides of Fortune’s
Game, debase them not; this is my plea.
What does a falling, dying star
Behold the human heart or hope?
The golden truths by weavers
Spun, displace them not, this is my plea.
Through dates and calendars, we toil
To build the architecture of the mind,
The scales of justice carved by
Law, misplace them not, this is my plea.
Where breathes a revolution’s
Soul in empires built on hoarded gold?
The sacred grace of pilgrim souls,
Replace them, not this is my plea.
Like Aztec Mictlantecuhtli, who rules
The shadows like Great Shiva’s wrath,
The quantum charms that defied
The dark, disgrace them not; this is my plea.
O close companion of my soul,
Each shared embrace o'er cups of tea,
The mirror's crazed, ecstatic words,
Chase them not, this is my plea.

Quantum Sufi Philosophy of Darpan: A Critical Literary Exploration of the NEPAL Paradigm Nothing is Not True Know Thyself Not

Abstract: This essay examines the emerging philosophical and poetic framework that may be termed Darpan’s Quantum Sufi Philosophy, as reflected in four ghazals: Forget Me Not, This Is My Plea, The Days of Love Shall Come, What State Remained Then?, and Such a Strange Habit It Is. The study explores how these poems synthesise Sufi metaphysics, Indic concepts of Shakti, comparative mythology, and metaphorical appropriations of quantum theory into a unified literary vision.
Rather than presenting scientific claims, the ghazals employ quantum concepts as symbolic language through which questions of memory, consciousness, love, identity, and global coexistence are examined. Central to this vision is the NEPAL Paradigm, “No Exit / No Exist PAL” – a philosophical formulation that combines existential inquiry, ego dissolution, and ethical interconnectedness.
The essay argues that Darpan’s poetic corpus constructs a trans-civilizational discourse in which mystical unity, quantum relationality, and universal human dignity converge into a critique of fragmentation, warfare, and techno-capitalist alienation.
Keywords: Quantum Sufism, Darpan, Ghazal Studies, Comparative Mysticism, Wahdat al-Wujud, Consciousness, Shakti, Quantum Metaphors, Global Ethics, Literary Philosophy.
Introduction
The twenty-first century presents humanity with a paradox. Technological power has expanded beyond historical imagination, yet social fragmentation, ecological crisis, warfare, and spiritual alienation continue to intensify. Amid this tension, literary works increasingly attempt to bridge scientific and spiritual worldviews.
The poetry of Darpan represents one such attempt. His ghazals move beyond conventional romantic expression and seek to establish a dialogue between mystical traditions and contemporary scientific imagination. Love becomes a cosmological principle; memory becomes a repository of existential continuity; consciousness becomes a participatory force within reality.
The philosophical statement “Nothing is Not True: No\Know Thyself Not” encapsulates the paradoxical foundation of this worldview. It suggests that absence may conceal possibility, and that the deepest form of self-knowledge emerges through transcendence of the ego rather than its affirmation.
Theoretical Foundations: Between Sufism and Quantum Metaphor
Darpan’s philosophical vision draws heavily upon the Sufi doctrine of Wahdat al-Wujud (Unity of Being), most famously associated with the medieval mystic Ibn Arabi. According to this doctrine, multiplicity is ultimately grounded in an underlying unity, and apparent separations are manifestations of a deeper interconnected reality.
In Darpan’s poetry, modern quantum concepts such as entanglement, superposition, and observation are employed metaphorically to illuminate this mystical principle.
The literary parallels are striking:
Quantum Entanglement becomes a metaphor for spiritual interconnectedness. Superposition symbolises the coexistence of being and non-being. The Observer Effect serves as a poetic analogy for the participatory role of consciousness. Quantum Vacuum becomes a metaphor for latent potential hidden within apparent emptiness.
It is important to emphasise that these are literary and philosophical correspondences rather than scientific equivalences. Their significance lies in symbolic resonance rather than empirical demonstration.
Memory as Quantum Archive: Reading Forget Me Not, This Is My Plea
The first ghazal revolves around remembrance and the fear of erasure.
The repeated refrain, “Do not forget”, functions not merely as a romantic plea but as an ontological demand. Memory becomes a mode of existence itself.
Within the poem, the preservation of memories, conversations, questions, and transformations suggests that human experience survives through remembrance. The poet’s insistence that neither emotions nor shared histories be forgotten reflects a deeper anxiety regarding cultural and existential amnesia.
The poem’s recurring invocation of names, events, and symbolic figures transforms memory into a collective archive. In this sense, memory resembles a metaphorical field of information that resists disappearance.
The ghazal thus proposes that remembrance is not nostalgia; it is an act of preserving human continuity against the forces of oblivion.
2. Ghazal (Hindvi/Rekhta version below)
The Sky Proclaims: Love’s Days Shall Come Again
A chirping bird unto the sky,
Proclaims: love’s days shall come again,
A fragrant rose-faced bloom unto
The gardener: love’s days shall come again.
The heartless dwelling in the heart
Teaches the worth of tender feeling;
A wandering river through the wilderness
Whispers: love’s days shall come again.
To understand you is no simple art,
None gain leave to enter wholly;
Yet feelings crossing hidden distances
Declare: love’s days shall come again.
Come, let us burn all warlike
Temperaments, all spite and bitter mockery;
The walls and borders standing in
Between confess: love’s days shall come again.
Brimming with certainty, we shall reject
The rivalries and harsh offences;
The dancing longings of our beating hearts
Affirm: love’s days shall come again.
From a single photon split emerged
Whole swarms of particles of light;
Fresh proofs from quantum realms
Themselves reveal: love’s days shall come again.
Beloved, every particle of
The mind is held in trust for you alone;
Even a sip of tea, recalling your
Presence says: love’s days shall come again.
Love as a Global Principle: Reading The Days of Love Shall Come
The second ghazal expands the scope of love from personal affection to civilizational aspiration.
The recurring declaration, “The days of love shall come”, functions almost as a prophetic refrain. Love appears not as sentimentality but as an ethical and transformative force capable of overcoming historical divisions.
Particularly significant is the poem’s rejection of militaristic consciousness and artificial boundaries:
Let us burn away every temperament of war. Here, love is presented as a counterforce to violence, nationalism, and hostility. The poem further introduces imagery derived from modern physics:
From the splitting of a single photon emerged swarms of light. This image serves as a metaphor for the expansion of compassion. Just as light proliferates from a single source, human empathy may radiate outward to illuminate broader communities.
The ghazal thereby constructs an alternative political imagination grounded in interconnectedness rather than competition.
Truth, Uncertainty, and Epistemological Humility: Reading What State Remained Then?
The third ghazal addresses the instability of certainty. The recurring question“, What state remained then?”, undermines simplistic distinctions between right and wrong, truth and falsehood.
Rather than advocating relativism, the poem encourages epistemological humility. Human beings often become trapped in competing narratives of correctness while losing sight of lived reality.
This philosophical stance bears a resemblance to contemporary discussions concerning uncertainty, complexity, and perspectival knowledge.
The poem’s references to quantum computing and interconnected processors further extend this theme. Human consciousness is imagined as part of a larger network in which understanding emerges through relation rather than isolation.
Truth, therefore, appears not as a static possession but as an evolving process of dialogue and participation.
3. Ghazal: (Hindvi/Rekhta version below)
This Side or That This State of the Heart
If this side is right, and that side is right,
Then what is this state of the heart?
If wrong is made right, and truth is
But trite, then what is this state of the heart?
In the maze of your words and
Promises of faith, I remained tangled and lost,
When actions fell short, and vows were
Bled white, then what is this state of the heart?
Where cruelty and wrath reside,
They say love also kindles its spark,
But when trust in you fades into
The night, then what is this state of the heart?
The weeping monsoon cloud bows
Down and breaks its brow on the earth,
When dust turns to mist in the rain’s heavy
Might, then, what is this state of the heart?
Seeking brief ruses to meet, we
Lost ourselves in a trance so deep,
When the heart rubbed raw against the eyes'
Fading sight, then what is this state of the heart?
Neutral atoms align in quantum grids,
Processor arrays bound as one,
When fault-tolerant systems run cold and
Bright, then what is this state of the heart?
Let the sugar and tea leaves
Blend in perfect poise for my love,
If a flawed mirror drinks the bliss of
Daylight, then what is this state of the heart?

Intimacy and Entanglement: Reading Such a Strange Habit It Is
The fourth ghazal explores the paradoxes of intimacy.
The beloved appears distant and yet profoundly present. Emotional closeness persists despite physical separation.
This dynamic echoes one of the central symbolic motifs of Darpan’s philosophy: connection beyond apparent distance.
4. Ghazal (Hindvi/Rekhta version below)
To Me You Are a Strange Affair Indeed
You touch my heart and steal
A kiss from it, a strange affair indeed;
Though never seeming truly near
To me, you are, a strange affair indeed.
Forever cross, withdrawn in
Silence, quarrelling in the light of day;
Yet after every little feud, you
Seem so innocent, a strange affair indeed.
Whatever tale remains untold,
To you alone I shall confess it plain;
A wandering rogue who plays the
Saintly role you are, a strange affair indeed.
I seek to cast you from my sight,
Yet to my very lashes you descend;
As stone and tear together flowing from
The heart you are, a strange affair indeed.
What need to tell the world? Pure
Pistory is crowded with its wars and strife;
You merely change the shape of
Freedom's chains for us, a strange affair indeed.
Clarion KX, by post-quantum keys,
Performs its measured task with care;
Yet newer pathways through the spaceward
Nets you weave, a strange affair indeed.
Darpan, within his heart, declares:
“Oh, Beloved, you understand it all”;
I raise a cup of tea, and you
Refill the bowl, a strange affair indeed.
The concluding image,
I drink the tea; you fill the cup: elevates ordinary domestic action into a symbol of relational existence. Love is expressed not through grand declarations but through subtle gestures that sustain everyday life.
The refrain “Such a strange habit it is” points toward the mystery underlying human relationships. Rational explanation proves insufficient; experience exceeds conceptual boundaries.
In this respect, the poem aligns with both mystical and phenomenological traditions that privilege lived experience over abstract certainty.
The NEPAL Paradigm: No Exit, No Exist, PAL
One of the most original aspects of Darpan’s philosophical construction is the symbolic formulation of the NEPAL Paradigm.
No Exit
Human beings cannot ultimately escape existential reality. Every attempt to evade suffering, mortality, or self-confrontation eventually returns us to fundamental questions of existence.
No Exist
This phrase signifies the dissolution of rigid ego structures. It resonates strongly with the Sufi concept of Fana, wherein the individual self is transcended in a greater reality.
PAL
The word “Pal” (moment) signifies the eternal significance of the present. Truth manifests not merely in abstract doctrines but in lived moments of awareness.
Together, these components propose a philosophy that combines existential responsibility, mystical self-transcendence, and ethical presence.
Shakti, Daksha Yajna, and the Metaphysics of Latency
Darpan’s interpretation of the Daksha Yajna narrative offers another significant dimension of his thought.
In classical mythology, Sati’s self-immolation appears as destruction. Yet within Shakta traditions, the event simultaneously signifies transformation and continuation.
The poet interprets this myth through the concept of latent energy.
Shakti does not disappear; it becomes concealed and later re-emerges. Symbolically, this resembles the notion that apparent absence may conceal deeper potentiality.
The philosophical implication is profound: what appears lost may remain present in unseen forms.
Thus destruction becomes transformation, and absence becomes concealed presence.
Mictlantecuhtli, Shiva, and Mahiravana: Comparative Mythology and Archetypal Consciousness
One of the most distinctive features of Darpan’s poetry is its comparative mythological imagination.
The juxtaposition of the Aztec deity Mictlantecuhtli, Shiva, and the underworld king Mahiravana does not seek historical equivalence. Instead, it highlights recurring archetypal patterns across civilisations.
These figures share symbolic associations with:
Death Transformation Descent into hidden realms Renewal and rebirth
In Darpan’s framework, the underworld functions as a metaphor for the unconscious, latent consciousness, and hidden dimensions of human experience.
This interpretation bears affinity with Carl Jung’s concept of the collective unconscious, wherein recurring archetypes emerge across diverse cultures.
The poet thus suggests that beneath cultural differences lie common symbolic structures of human imagination.
Critique of Techno-Capitalism and the Vision of Global Consciousness
Beyond metaphysical concerns, Darpan’s work contains an ethical and political dimension.
The poems repeatedly criticise systems that fragment humanity through excessive materialism, domination, exploitation, and perpetual conflict.
Against such tendencies, the poet proposes a vision of interconnected global consciousness.
This vision may be described as a poetic ethics of entanglement: the recognition that the suffering of one community ultimately affects the whole.
In this framework, peace is not merely a political arrangement but an ontological necessity arising from human interconnectedness.
The aspiration to “End All Wars” emerges as a moral extension of the philosophy of unity.
Conclusion
Darpan’s Quantum Sufi Philosophy represents a noteworthy literary experiment in synthesising mystical thought, comparative mythology, and contemporary scientific imagery. Across his four ghazals, memory, love, consciousness, transformation, and interconnectedness emerge as recurring themes that challenge modern assumptions of separation and fragmentation.
The principle “Nothing is Not True” reimagines emptiness as possibility, while “No\Know Thyself Not” reframes self-knowledge as a process of transcending the ego. Together, these ideas form the foundation of the NEPAL Paradigm, a poetic-philosophical model that seeks to unite existential inquiry, spiritual wisdom, and global ethics.
Although the quantum elements within this framework function primarily as metaphors rather than scientific propositions, their literary value lies precisely in their ability to illuminate timeless human concerns through the language of contemporary imagination.
Ultimately, Darpan’s poetry invites readers to envision a world in which memory resists erasure, love transcends division, consciousness participates in reality, and humanity recognises itself as part of a deeper, shared continuum of being.

दर्पण क्वांटम सूफ़ी फिलॉसफ़ी: एक एक्सपर्ट क्रिटिकल एप्रोच: “Nothing is not true: No\Know Thyself Not” NEPAL Paradigm (NE = No Exit / No Exist PAL पाल = सत्य की पाल, जो समय के प्रवाह में भी टिकी रहती है)।
“Nothing is not true” का मतलब: शून्य भी खाली नहीं, बल्कि पूर्ण संभावना (quantum vacuum) है। “NO\Know Thyself Not” आत्मा को जानने की कोशिश में भी वह छिप जाती है, जैसे व्याप्ता’पि यन्निगूढ़ा बहिरीक्षकबुद्ध्यपेक्षया नष्टा।
Aztec-Shiva-Mahiravan-Patal Civilization Connection दर्पण की “Forget Me Not This is My Plea” गज़ल में Mictlantecuhtli (Aztec underworld god of death & bones) को महादेव शिव के क्रोध से जोड़ा गया है।
Quantum Link: पाताल = subconscious/quantum vacuum / dark matter realm।
Techno-Capitalism से Quantum Darpan Paradigm Shift: दर्पण पोयम्स UN और विश्व नेताओं को “Make Earth Great Forever: End All Wars” की हिदायत देते हैं। Techno-capitalism (hoarded gold, empires, Nazi-like totalitarianism) ने humanity को fragment कर दिया। Parallel Dignity for Humanity/Persistent World Order essential
Parallel Dignity for Humanity/Persistent World Order Borders, wars, exploitation – सब “Forget Me Not” की plea के खिलाफ़ दिखते हैं, जिसे नज़रअंदाज़ नहीं किया जा सकता । NEPAL: No Exit from existential reality, पर “Pal” (moment/truth) को जानकर हम “No Exist” (ego dissolution) की तरफ़ बढ़ सकते हैं Sufi फना + Quantum observer becoming co-creator.

दर्पण क्वांटम सूफ़ी फ़िलॉसफ़ी: “Nothing is Not True, No\Know Thyself Not” और NEPAL Paradigm का आलोचनात्मक-अकादमिक अध्ययन

- NEPAL Paradigm: No Exit / No Exist PAL
NE = No Exit
No Exist =
PAL = सत्य का क्षण
“Nothing is Not True” शून्यता को संभाव्यता के रूप में पुनर्परिभाषित करता है, जबकि “No\Know Thyself Not” आत्मज्ञान को अहं-विसर्जन की प्रक्रिया में रूपांतरित करता है।
