जागी जग उजियारा

सुवर्णप्रभा प्रवाहउषा तुं जागी जग उजियारा,
खुली आँख नजर तुं नआए कैसि घुंघटियारा!
           रुपजालमे पडा मै तेरी झकमकसे चौंधियाया,
           आम्रपाली कभी दिखेहो तुं पटाचारा पटियारा!
रे दुःखियारी दिलपे सवारी मनतन अन्तरतम्,
तेरा मै मुझे सबका बनादे दुःखके दुःखियारा!
           मनसे बनेसुख्दुःख कभी सुखदुःखदुःखसुख,
           मन चाहि सुख अनचाहि खाये जाय जियारा!
वेद बायीबील पुराण कुराण कहे तुम्को देखुं,
जाना चलताफिरता तुं मेरी धडकति हियारा!
           तुंसे मेरा प्यार जैसाऐसा आजका चाय हुवा,
           तुं मेरी पिवनपावनी मै तेरे नैनप्यासे पियारा!

Veiled underneath the light unnoticeable you are in the daybreak though you are awoken spilled all over golden-ray. Dazzled with the sharp shines of your beauty I see you to be Aamrapali raising eyelashes or even Patachara so grieved.
