The storm of love passes, lingering on and moving past, 
The fleeting truth of sacrifice, the hemline-face smiles.

You showed your miracle, robbed my comfort and my peace, 
The plunderer is lost, but the merciful face smiles.

Ram, Rahim, Raheem, Ram-o-sa, the names of the Divine, 
In sorrow’s barb and bitter jest, the heart’s hidden face smiles.

May this world, so beautiful, prove its reality a lie, 
In enmity's great truth, the beloved’s lovely face smiles.

A new Quantum Equation, today, and black-hued tea, 
O Maiden, what did you pour? The departing face smiles.

The ghazal calls for liberation from this servitude, asserting that the only Great Forever is achieved by ending the wars (both internal and external) created by our allegiance to this false, fragile reality.

Like a burning ember, the eye is drawn to beautiful faces. It has been said to the intoxicated poet that beauty in a face is meaningless if the discerning gaze is absent. We simply smile at this and walk on, lost and solitary, murmuring, “Let be what may be.”

Amidst the sparks, butterflies, and colours racing through our hearts, we are indifferent to the binary of truth or falsehood, or wealth or poverty.

Today, we observe the paradoxes of the global stage: Tesla, having begged for financial backing (or fulfilled enormous public expectation) to achieve ‘trillionaire’ status in a decade, now dances ecstatically like a mendicant. Conversely, the president of the wealthiest and most developed nation (presently facing a government shutdown) struggles to secure wages for poor, low-paid workers.

Geopolitics continues its military escalation: China has become a jet-powered nation with another electromagnetic catapult Pacific vessel. India is rumoured to be expanding its ‘Chicken Neck’ corridor from 22 km to 60 km. Simultaneously, reports of sexual harassment, whether in a high-profile Singapore beauty pageant or within private homes, consistently surface, revealing a painful synchronicity.

Why does this “ugly beauty of truth and falsehood” permeate all our major concerns, geopolitics, economics, development, and environment? Have we engineered all our systems as ‘Error-Friendly Equations’? Is this why a ‘fact’ appears true, only to be refuted later by a new equation that overturns concepts like Time-Space and the Dark Matter/Energy theories? Have we, in fact, created ‘Science’ out of inherently non-stable knowledge?

How long must we endure this “scientific servitude” born of our own ignorance? Are the very systems responsible for knowledge creation, our universities, research frameworks, and the educational, social, and functional structures that shape our understanding of even Quantum Mechanics, fundamentally defunct?

भौतिकी और दर्शन का द्वंद्व जलवा-ए-करिश्मा और स्पेस-टाइम (Spacetime): जब शायर कहता है: “दिखा के जलवा-ए-करिश्मा, चैन-ओ-सुख ये छीन ले”, तो यह उस परम सत्ता या ‘माया’ के प्रदर्शन की ओर संकेत करता है जो समय (Time) और अंतरिक्ष (Space) की हमारी अनुभव की जाने वाली हकीकत को विकृत करता है।

आशिक़ी, दीवानगी, सुख़नवरी (काव्य-कला) और फ़कीरी, ये सब एक ही पहचान तो हैं। हमें तो केवल उस नज़र से देखकर ही सारी अमन व सुकून हासिल हो जाता है। चाहे धड़कनों में बिजलियाँ, तितलियाँ, और रंगीनियाँ चल रही हों, हमें सच या झूठ, अमीरी या फ़कीरी की कोई परवाह नहीं।

आज हम देखते हैं कि दस साल में ट्रिलियनियर बनने की ‘भीख’ लेकर (सार्वजनिक अपेक्षाओं और वित्तीय सहायता के माध्यम से) टेस्ला खुशी से ‘जोगीरा’ सा नाच रहा है। दूसरी ओर, अमेरिका (विश्व का सबसे अमीर और विकसित देश, जो शटडाउन से गुज़र रहा है) के अध्यक्ष ट्रंप को गरीब और कम वेतन वाले कर्मचारियों की तनख्वाह जुटाने के लिए भी भीख’ लेकर संघर्ष करना पड़ रहा है।

चीन अब एक और इलेक्ट्रो-मैग्नेटिक कैटापुल्ट वाली पैसिफ़िक वेसल (जेट पावर्ड) राष्ट्र बन गया है। भारत के ‘चिकन नेक’ कॉरिडोर को 22 किमी से बढ़ाकर 60 किमी करने की ख़बरें फैल रही हैं। और यह कैसी विडंबना है कि मैक्सिकन यौन उत्पीड़न के समाचार बार-बार सामने आते हैं, चाहे वह सिंगापुर ब्यूटी पेजेंट में हो या अपने ही घरों में?

हमारे भू-राजनीतिक, आर्थिक, विकासात्मक या पर्यावरणीय, सभी मुद्दों में यह ‘झूठ-सच की बदसूरत खूबसूरती’ क्यों दिखती है? क्या हमारे बनाए हुए सभी ‘सिस्टम-इक्वेशंस’ दोष-अनुकूल (Error-Friendly) हैं? क्या यही कारण है कि एक ‘तथ्य’ हमें सही दिखता है, और फिर कोई नई इक्वेशन आती है जो टाइम-स्पेस और डार्क मैटर/एनर्जी की अवधारणाओं को ही ख़ारिज कर देती है? क्या हमने कभी स्थिर न होने वाले ज्ञान को ही ‘विज्ञान’ बना रखा है?

हम कब तक अपनी अज्ञानता की इस ‘वैज्ञानिक दासता’ से गुज़रते रहेंगे? क्या ज्ञान-निर्माण करने वाली हमारी यूनिवर्सिटीज़, रिसर्च सिस्टम्स और यहाँ तक कि क्वांटम मैकेनिक्स की समझ बनाने वाली हमारी शैक्षिक, सामाजिक और कार्यात्मक (Functional) प्रणालियाँ भी अब ‘निष्क्रिय’ (Defunct) हो चुकी हैं?”

विकास का झूठ (Developmental Nihilism): अमेरिका का शटडाउन और चीन का इलेक्ट्रो-मैग्नेटिक कैटपुल्ट जैसे सैन्य-तकनीकी विकास, ‘ये ख़ूबसूरत दुनिया अपनी, सच में झूठ ही निकले’ के दर्शन को सिद्ध करते हैं। जब विकास (Development), गरीबी, यौन उत्पीड़न और युद्ध की संभावनाओं को समाप्त नहीं करता, तो वह मात्र एक विघटित (Defunct) व्यवस्था का भ्रम मात्र रह जाता है।
