रोशनी तुमसेहिं आतिहै

ऐ टहकति चाँदनी रोशनी तुमसेहिं आतिहै, 
पर झुठ ना कह पाउँगा ईस मनमे जो आतिहै! 
           तुमसे मोहब्बत दिलके गहिराईसे निकले, 
           हजारों अरबों तारे गगनके सभी दिल लुभातिहै! 
एक तुमसे प्यार जो इतना गहरा हो चला, 
सबसे प्यार मोहब्बतसे निबटो तुंहिं सिखातिहै! 
           चंद्रकला बस् इतनिसि खला तुझसे सिकायत, 
           कुछ रोज बेचैन होजाता हुँ जब तुम छुप जातिहै! 
प्यारको हकसे खुदगर्जीका पैसा नाबनापाउँ मै, 
तडपता जो देखुँ किसिको मेरी दिल पिघल आतिहै! 
           वो तेरी मुस्कानसि मीठी आजकी चाय बनगई, 
           स्वीटहार्ट जरा मुस्कुराना तेरी बातोंको मन भातिहै!

O, shining ablaze moonlight whao the bright light comes from you. I can’t tell you a lie, but what comes out of my mind? Love springs out of the deepest depths of your heart. Millions and billions sky of stars.

All of them smiling lures all the parts of my heart. However, the deepest in love I have fallen only for you. And, ’tis you always teach me to go in love with all and true to do. One thing only but eats my lungs!

O, art of moon I have a complaint to make with you. Desperately I go into despair when you hide from my sight for some days afar. So mean and selfish I am not able to transact love for some kind or cash.
