तुं है दिलसे इसकी बातोंमे आगयाहुँ मै, 
मीट्टीकीखुश्बुसे मिस्लीसुबह पायाहुँ मै! 
           येधडकनेदरख्तोंमेपत्तोंकी सरसराहट, 
           पाससे गुजरति घुर्नी तेरी भरमायाहुँ मै! 
अल्फाजें लफ्जों जुवांके एक आवाजहै, 
दिलाेमे जो प्यारहोताहै समझगयाहुँ मै! 
           तुम्हें प्यारहो या रुखशत करना मुझसे, 
           पागल दिलहै प्यार लेके चलआयाहुँ मै! 
कैसा रबहै दिलउसका हमने नहिदेखे, 
मेरा दिल हथेलीमे तुम्हारा चढायाहुँ मै! 
           आजके चाय दिल पिघलाकर बनागया, 
           प्रियसी दिललगाकर तुम्हें पिलायाहुँ मै!
