खाली किया दिलको हर खलिश बाहरकर,
रोजा-ए-मोब्बत शाम देख आये चहारकर!
           धडक रुबाई रुमी सुफीयाने कौव्वाली बजा,
           गजामे रमादान मनाया कार्निवल पुकारकर!
लाहोर लुधियाना ललितपुर होया लालमाटी,
हर दिलकी दुआ अमन अदा हो पधारकर!
           वारदातें जाहिलियत खयालातइन्सा छोडदे,
           चिराग-ए-इश्क मैने जलाया जां संवारकर!
सल्तनत शरहदें ओैर तारिखें धोखाधडी है,
कैसीदुनिया बहादुरी साजिशी मारामारकर!
           आओ आज चायमे सोचनेकी तरकीब नई,
           ढुंढकर पितेंहैं सनम हम तुंसे दिल हारकर!

Roza Eve around the world is a glimpse of a love carnival. All I see is taking every garbage out from the heart. Rubbai, Rumai, Sufi, and Qwaali tunes in the beats of all hearts. Pleasing to see Ramadan in Gaza!

Shouts and cheers of carnival I hear. A festive mood in Lahore, in Ludhiyana, in Lalitpur, and Lalmati I could see. Amen! The hands of prayers and worship were raised for peace and solace toward thee O almighty!

O, man, the thought of war is foolish of you! Leave it for ever! Come, I have lit a lamp of love with great care for you. Wars, borders, and history are all but illusionary! What to pride for valour at murderous societies!
