महकाति हर सुबह मेरी सांसोमे बंधी प्राण,
ऐ तुलसी घरकी शोभा आँगनमे बसी थाण!
              आतेजाते घरसेभितरबाहरतुझे दाहिनाकरुं,
              तुमसँग घरमेरेसजाहैबढाकर बडाकर मान!
तुं महकायेदिलको मेरेतेरी वदनकी खुश्बूसे,
दर्द-मर्जकी दवाभी तुंहै तुंसेहै सजी मकान!
              हर घरआँगन बारी तुमको सबने बोयेउगाये,
              साधु-सज्जन, कपटी-ढोंगी राखाहै सन्मान!
तुलसी तुं गाबार्डमस्कट्रम्पडीजेभैंसां संभाले,
रखना सबको उषावैन सबेरा किये दिनमान!
            तुलसीकी मग्मगाति महक आजसुबहकी चाय,
            प्रेयसी पावन पिवनसे तन-मनमे आजाये जान!
