आग जोहै जलतारहताहै कोई इसे जलाये त‍ो,
गुमसुम कैसे रहपाये मन कोई इसे चलाये तो!
                सुबह सबेरे इस मौसमके आज कोयल बोली,
                मन बाँबरा चैतरि सुजने कोई इसे बहलाये तो!
हल्की-हल्की धुप छछल्की तनमनछुगयी तनु,
दर्दभरा दिलभरे प्यारसे कोई इसे सहलाये तो!
               चोटिचोटि पहाडोमेहै रङ्ग बिखेरे लाली गुराँश,
               बदल जाये मन भरङ्गसे कोई इसे नहलाये तो!
फूल खिलेंहैं धरतीपर कहिं रङ्गजङ्ग आगजले,
यह दिल दहलताहै जैसे कोई इसे दहलाये तो!
               महकेमहुंवे आम मौलायेआज मौसमकी चाय,
              सजनी वाहरे नकहेंकैसे कोई इसे कहलाये तो!

My heart sinks deeper and deeper when someone drowns it down. The flowers of mahuwa, the madhuca longifolia go fragrant and the mango flowers shoot for the bees. And the tea today has all brewed seeds in it.
