हरसू नजर तुंहींतूं आकर जहनो-रूह जगा देती हो, 
धरकर दिलके हरधड़कनोको फिरभी दगा देती हो। 
           मनकी गहरी खुफ़ियाई कमरेतक तुम्को बसाया है,
           मनीषातनुराधेया मनुस्मृत्तिके ख़ुदायी लगा देती हो। 
यूँ आना-जाना सांस बनकर तुंने मर्जी अर्ज करी है,
अपनी इल्मो-अमल ज़िन्दगी सज़ायी सगा देती हो। 
           मनसून बरसनाथा लेकिन आगहीं आग इसबारगी,
           सबके दिलमे दिखे बसा एक डर वह भगा देती हो। 
शरताज तुम्हें पहनाहै बनाकर मेहरवानी शुक्र तेरा,
ट्रम्पकाटोपी मस्क जैसा खुमैनी माथ टगा देती हो। 
           येलो आजकी चायमे रस बेबफ़ा जिंदगीसे प्यार है,
           जानेमनजानेजिगर पीने-जिनको क्यों मगा देती हो।

In every glance, you appear, awakening my soul and mind, Holding, yet, every beat of my heart, you betray me behind.

Enshrined I have kept you in the secret chambers of my heart, Held up as Manishatanuradheya, in Manusmritti instilled as divine, sacred art.

Coming in and going out, like the breath, you have made your plea crystal clear, With your knowledge and deeds, you adorn the life, holding it so dear.

The monsoon it was expected to rain now, but the shower of fire around burn, A fear visible residing in every heart, and that’s what you have overturn.

You have been crowned, bestowing upon you my utmost grace, Like Trump’s hat, Musk-headed, you place Khomeini’s mark with such pace.

The tea today holds the essence of love for a faithless own life, Sweetheart mine, my soul, now tell me as you ask, how to drink this strife?
