नगमा दिलके गाति देखा

जिन्दगी होकर उजालेमे सबेरे आति देखा,
बुझकर रोशनी जलासा अंधेरे जाति देखा!
             तेरा मिलना जलेहुवे उजाले ओैर अंधेरोंमे,
             होना मेरा तेरा होना मनको भरमाति देखा!
तुमसे मिलपाना मुमकिन बात रहाहिं नहिं,
फिर क्युँ लोगोंंको इस बातने सताति देेखा!

You came, the light came, and life came in the early morning. The burnt-out light dark went after the evening. Seeing you in the lit-up light and night. Sunk, the mind into the illusion I see for long!
